Welcome! On a Mission Speech & Language Therapy is a mobile private practice that provides pediatric speech therapy services in the home, at daycares, ABA centers and in the community. We offer in-person services for Clear Lake and surrounding areas, as well as teletherapy services for all of Texas.

Tanya Godbold, M.S., CCC-SLP
Tanya Godbold is the owner of On A Mission Speech and Language Therapy and an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of experience. She has extensive experience working in the schools, and has also practiced in the acute medical setting, skilled nursing homes and home health.
She received her Bachelor Degree from the University of Houston and her Master Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University and is licensed to provide speech and language services in Texas and California.
As a special needs mother, she understands how difficult it is to navigate through the therapy process. She is committed to provide you with support, education, and guidance to make it easier for you and your child. Her mission is to work together with families to help children meet their highest potential.

Services
Consultations
We offer 15-minute complimentary consultations to discuss your child and answer any questions you may have.
Screenings
We offer screenings at daycares/schools to determine if your child needs a full evaluation.
Comprehensive Evaluation
An evaluation is required prior to speech and language therapy to ensure we get a full picture of your child’s unique strengths and needs. On A Mission Speech and Language Therapy uses a variety of formal and informal assessments, such as:
– parent interview
– background information
– child/therapist play interaction
– observations
– language sample analysis
– formal test measures
We will provide a detailed report and discuss the findings and recommendations with you.
Individual Speech and Language Therapy
We offer speech and language services to cover a variety of areas. We specialize in child-centered therapy, which means that each therapy session is individualized to your child’s individual preferences, needs, and strengths. Sessions are 30-45 minutes long depending on your child’s needs.
Payment Information
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, an SSES provider and accept private pay at this time. We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA.
If we are not in network with your insurance provider, you can submit your invoice to your insurance for possible reimbursement through out of network benefits.
